Welcome to Melmark

Melmark is a comprehensive multi- service provider of residential, educational, therapeutic, and recreational services for children and adults with developmental disabilities including autism spectrum disorders, acquired brain injury, other neurological and genetic disorders, and related challenging behaviors. Programs are offered in Pennsylvania and Massachusetts. Our varied programs promote independence, increased self-awareness, and confidence, while offering participants opportunities to make friends and develop personal interests.

 

Melmark delivers effective research-based services emphasizing personal worth and achievement. All programming occurs in the least restrictive environment possible.

 

The Meadows Program

Dried flower baskets and other hand made items created by partners of the Country Garden Guild are available at the Meadows during the week and at various community sales throughout the year. Learn more »

A Get-Together for Family Members and Self-Advocates!

The Pennsylvania Training Partnership announces a Mentors for Self-Determination and Self-Advocates United as 1 'Get-Together,' which will include five free trainings and a family connection available in your area.

TRAININGS: 1) How Do I Choose a Provider for the Supports I Need? (for families), 2) SIS and the PA Plus (for self-advocates), 3) Developing a Good ISP (for families), 4) What is a Mental Retardation Waiver and How Do I Get One? (for families), 5) Introduction to Person-Centered Thinking (for self-advocates) and a Family Connection with Deputy Secretary Kevin Casey!
