Melmark Receives $25,000 grant
On June 11, Melmark received a $25,000 Ronald McDonald House Charities® grant during a check presentation held at the organization’s Spring Festival in Berwyn. The grant helped fund a newly restored, state-of-the-art recreational area that provides opportunities for children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities to play tennis, basketball, kickball and to participate in therapeutic recreational activities as well as Special Olympic endeavors.
Melmark President and CEO, Joanne Gillis-Donovan, Ph.D., along with executive team members and adults and children the organization serves, were on hand to accept this grant.
