In April 2013, Melmark hosted a volunteer appreciation event to thank the many volunteers who make a difference in the lives of children and adults with special needs who attend Melmark's day and residential programs.

On Wednesday, April 17th, volunteers from The Woodlynde School's National Honors Society worked alongside adults with special needs in The Meadows Garden.

On Saturday, March 30th, children and adults who participate in Melmark's day and residential programs were treated to an amazing celebration of Easter.

On March 15th, adults who attend Melmark's day and residential programs danced the afternoon away Irish style with the help of some area high school students.

There’s nothing quite as exciting as bringing home a winning ribbon when you’re in a competition, unless, of course, you win while competing against a pool of artists, known as the best in their field internationally.   Congratulations to members of Melmark’s Meadows Program for placing in the Philadelphia Flower Show.

The Melmark Traveling Art Show is on display throughout the month of March at Burlap and Bean Coffee in Newtown Square, PA.

Each piece displays the abilities of students diagnosed with autism.

On Tuesday, February 5th, Philadelphia Wings Players, Brett Manney and Kevin Crowley, taught Melmark students and adults the fundamentals of lacrosse.
