School Consultation FAQs

What kind of consulting do you undertake?
We consult with children who have challenging/disruptive behaviors that limit their opportunities for learning or participating in a classroom.

In what geographic areas do you offer consulting services?
We consult in Suburban Philadelphia and throughout New Jersey.

Do you consult to public or private schools or Intermediate Units? What about home visits?
Yes, we consult with any of type of school or Intermediate Unit. If necessary, we will also make home visits.

How expensive is the consultation, and how are payments arranged?
Fees and payments are agreed upon in a contract arranged prior to starting consulting services. They are based on distance traveled and hours of service.

How often do you consult on a typical case? Do families or schools pay for the service?
The frequency of visits depends upon the needs of the student. Whoever requests the service pays for it.

How does someone get started with consulting services?

What age range do services cover? Must students be in Special Education classes?
We consult with children ages 2 to 11, in “special ed” or “regular” classrooms.

If we have a child in our school who exhibits problem behaviors, can you help us?
Yes.

Do we get a written report or progress report?
Reports are issued upon request.

Can your service be part of a student's IEP?
Yes, services can be part of an IEP.

Who conducts the evaluation?
A doctoral or master’s level behavior analyst conducts the evaluation.
