Dr. Russell is a retired pharmaceutical physician who served as Chief Medical Officer at several pharmaceutical companies including Cephalon, Innocoll and TetraLogic.

Following the acquisition of Cephalon by Teva she also served as their head of Research and Development of Global Branded Products.

Dr. Russell currently sits on the board of directors of Enanta Pharmaceuticals, Imugene and Chimeric listed on NASDAQ and ASX respectively.

Dr. Russell holds a MBChB degree from the University of Edinburgh and is a Member of the Royal College of Physicians, UK.
