Honoring or remembering a loved one through the expression of a charitable gift is a meaningful way to pay tribute while supporting the mission of the designated organization. The gift may commemorate a special occasion such as a birthday, wedding, anniversary or retirement, or it may be made in memory of a loved one. Gifts of any size are welcome and will be acknowledged to the donor as well as to any individual(s) designated.

The foresight and generosity of planned giving donors strengthens future possibilities for the children and adults we serve. Planned gifts may be designated to the organization’s endowment fund, providing a level of annual support in perpetuity.

Founded in 2010, The Paul and Mildred Krentel Legacy Society includes individuals who have designated Melmark as a beneficiary in their estate plan. Gifts can include a bequest or beneficiary designation in a retirement plan and/or charitable income gifts.

A Gift-In-Kind is a contribution of goods or services that can be used to advance Melmark’s mission. The donation may be to a special event auction or raffle, for use in the organization or one that can be readily converted to cash.
