David Hawthorne serves as the Director of Talent Management and Executive Recruiting at Melmark, where he creates innovative solutions in workforce planning. His responsibilities include developing strategies for talent management, retention, and workforce development.

Early in his career, David founded an organization specializing in home and community-based services for individuals with developmental disabilities. During his 10+ years with the organization, he was elected Chairman of the SunCoast Region Quality Steering Committee with the Florida Agency for Persons with Disabilities for two years.

David has a Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences from the University of South Florida and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Florida. His career path has been very diverse, including roles focused on Operations, Training, Consulting, and Talent Acquisition. He is enthusiastic about leveraging the knowledge gained from his cross-industry experiences to contribute to the advancement of world class talent within the human services sector with Melmark.
